Micro reactors: industrial results

Micro reactors and flow reactors have many advantages as tools in organic synthesis. A review in the April issue of Journal of Chemical Research describes how small reactor volumes enable reactions to be performed on an industrial scale more efficiently and safely than when using batch processes.

Nest Construction and Function 2012

The first international conference to focus on the many aspects of nest construction and function in birds will take place in Lincoln in September 2012. Organised by Charles Deeming, Editor in Chief of Avian Biology Research, the conference will form the basis of a future special issue.
