The April–May-June 2012 edition of the Endangered Species Bulletin highlights the work the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and its partners are doing to conserve endangered bird species and the habitats they depend on.

Stories include the efforts to create a second population of the Nihoa Millerbird on Hawaii’s Laysan Island, restoring Millerbirds to the island after a 100-year absence, and work to conserve the lesser prairie-chicken and greater sage-grouse — two candidate species for Endangered Species Act protection.
